The reaction of allenic stannanes immobilized on carboxypolystyrene with aldehydes, promoted by BF3 · OEt2 or mediated by InBr3, affords after cleavage from the resin, the corresponding homopropargylic alcohols in high purity, free of tin containing byproducts.
