ABSTRACT

The article describes the current technique of the multivector superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS)-platysma facelift, as developed by Owsley. Also described is the use of the malar fat pad lift to improve results in the midface and the nasolabial folds, as well as the anatomic rationale for the procedure.
