DDW 2005 - ERCP[*]

Einleitung

Die vorgestellten klinischen Untersuchungen zielten auf eine erhöhte Leistungsfähigkeit, die größere Sicherheit und eine erweiterte Applikation der endoskopischen retrograden Cholangiopankreatikographie (ERCP).
Dabei wurden neue Techniken und neue Technologien zur Lösung alter und neuer Probleme eingesetzt.
Die diagnostische Bedeutung der ERCP hat sich infolge der Weiterentwicklung des endoskopischen Ultraschalls und anderer bildgebender Verfahren verringert.
Die Zunahme von Lebertransplantationen und Magen-Bypass-Operationen haben neue therapeutische Anwendungen und Herausforderungen zu Folge.

Die folgende Übersicht berücksichtigt wichtige Beiträge der diesjährigen DDW.
