A case of phytobezoar in a gastrectomized patient with liver disorders is reported.
Owing to the difficulty of establishing the diagnosis, the need for gastroscopy and
biopsy is emphasized. Apart from the cases in which surgical removal is urgent, attention
is drawn to the effectiveness of enzyme dissolution in connection with the experience
described.
