Unter dem Begriff Hygiene verstehen wir einerseits “Reinlichkeit” und “Gesundheitspflege”,
aber er ist auch Teil des Ausdrucks „medizinische Strahlenhygiene“, wobei Hygiene
im Sinne von Reduktion der Strahlenexposition zu verstehen ist – sowohl für Patient
als auch für medizinisches Personal. Hygiene – sei es nun Reinlichkeit oder Strahlenschutz – ist
ein wichtiger Bestandteil der täglichen beruflichen Tätigkeit von MTRA.
On the one hand we understand hygiene as “cleanliness” and “health care”, but it can
also be used in terms of radiology; meaning hygiene in the sense of reducing radiation
exposure – both for the patient and for medical personnel. Hygiene – be it cleanliness
or radiation protection – is an important part of the everyday professional activity
of Radiological Technicians.
