Die eingeschränkte Stimmleistung ist das Hauptsymptom der glottalen Insuffizienz. Dazu können Schluckbeschwerden, Atemnot beim Sprechen sowie eine verminderte allgemeine Leistungsfähigkeit kommen. Die Injektionsglottoplastik ist eine mögliche interventionelle Therapieoption.

Abstract

Glottal insufficiency often causes voice problems, but also dysphagia, dyspnoe while speaking as well as a limited global strength and endurance. Injection glottoplasty represents a valid therapeutic option. This article describes indication, materials, technique, and outcome expectations. For selection of the appropriate material and technique morphological changes and parameters of vocal function should be considered.

Fazit

Die Injektionsglottoplastik ist eine gute Option zur Behandlung der glottalen Insuffizienz. Der behandelnde Arzt sollte Vor- und Nachteile der vorhandenen Materialen und Techniken genau kennen, um die für den Patienten bestmögliche Therapieoption anwenden zu können.
