Zusammenfassung

Die Frühgeburt ihres Kindes erleben Eltern meist als ein belastendes Ereignis. In seiner Doktorarbeit ging der Autor der Frage nach, welche psychischen Auswirkungen dies auf die Mütter und Väter hat. In diesem Artikel schildert er, wie sich die aktuelle Versorgungssituation darstellt und welche Empfehlungen sich daraus für den Umgang der Hebamme mit betroffenen Eltern ergeben.
