Genderspezifische Aspekte in der endokrinen Chirurgie

Das biologische (z. B. Sexualhormone, Genexpression der X- und Y-Chromosomen) und soziokulturelle Geschlecht (z. B. Risikoverhalten, Lebenserfahrung) führen zu Geschlechterunterschieden auch in der endokrinen Chirurgie. Bis heute sind vor allem genderspezifische Unterschiede bezüglich Epidemiologie, Diagnose und Therapie bei kardiovaskulären, onkologischen und psychiatrischen Erkrankungen bekannt.
