Die visuelle Vorstellung in der osteopathischen Palpation

Die Bedeutung der Hand liegt für den Osteopathen im wahrsten Sinn des Wortes auf der Hand. Meist ist sie es, die im Rampenlicht steht, wenn es um die Palpation, die Kernkompetenz von Osteopathen, geht. Kognitive Phänomene, wie die visuelle Vorstellung, werden dagegen eher stiefmütterlich behandelt. Welche Bedeutung sog. Top-down-Prozesse bei der Tastwahrnehmung von Osteopathen haben, soll in diesem Artikel aufgezeigt werden.
