Ina B. Pedersen et al. Incomplete endoscopic resection of colorectal polyps: a prospective
quality assurance study
This study shows that endoscopic resection of polyps 5–19 mm in size was incomplete
in 1 out of 6 polypectomies, especially in those with a proximal location and for
serrated lesions. Interestingly, no difference in incomplete resection rates was found
between board-certified and trainee gastroenterologists.
