ZUSAMMENFASSUNG

Angsterkrankungen gehören zu den häufigsten psychischen Störungen im Kindes- und Jugendalter überhaupt. An ihrer Entstehung sind sowohl genetische als auch psychosoziale Faktoren beteiligt. Wohingegen während der kindlichen Entwicklungsphasen verschiedene Ängste physiologisch auftreten können, stellen Angsterkrankungen im Kindes- und Jugendalter Vorläufer späterer psychiatrischer Störungen bis ins Erwachsenenalter dar. In der erwarteten Revision des ICD werden zukünftig einige vormals nur bei Kindern diagnostizierte Angststörungen auch für das Erwachsenenalter definiert. Die vorliegende Übersichtsarbeit geht hinsichtlich therapeutischer Optionen insbesondere auf die im Kindes- und Jugendalter klinisch häufigen Angststörungen Trennungsangst, phobische Störung, soziale Ängstlichkeit und generalisierte Angststörung ein.

ABSTRACT

Anxiety disorders belong to the most frequent disorders in child and adolescent psychiatry. Genetic and psychosocial factors contribute to their etiology. While various forms of anxiety may arise physiologically during specific developmental phases, pathological anxiety disorders in childhood and adolescence represent risk constellations and precursors of later psychopathology up into adulthood. In the upcoming revision of the ICD several anxiety disorders that were restricted to childhood will be operationalized as well for adults. With regard to therapeutical options, the present review will focus on anxiety disorders with high prevalence in childhood and adolescence, namely separation anxiety, phobic disorders, social anxiety and generalized anxiety disorder.
