EndoProthetikZentrum

In Deutschland werden jährlich ca. 400 000 Hüft- und Knieendoprothesen eingesetzt [1]. Die Implantation solcher Kunstgelenke ist eine Routineoperation. Doch nur durch die Einhaltung von hohen Qualitätsstandards kann eine optimale Versorgung der Patienten sichergestellt werden. Die Zentrenbildung und die Einführung von Registern für endoprothetische Versorgungen zunächst von Hüft- und Kniegelenk soll diese hohen Qualitätsstandards garantieren.
