Zusammenfassung

Die atraumatische Ruptur der Sehne des Extensor-hallucis-longus ist ein sehr seltenes Krankheitsbild. Chronische Überlastung durch Kontaktsportarten, anatomische Besonderheiten am Knochen, vorangegangene Operationen sowie Medikamenteninjektionen im Bereich der Sehne wurden bereits als Ursache berichtet. Wir berichten über einen jungen Patienten, der sich ohne erkennbaren Grund mit einem akuten Funktionsverlust seiner Extensor-hallucis-longus-Sehne in unserer Sprechstunde vorstellte.

Abstract

An atraumatic rupture of the extensor hallucis longus tendon is a rare injury. Chronic overload due to contact sports, bony anomalies, previous operations, and drug injections close to the tendon have been reported as a cause. We report the case of a young patient who presented with an acute loss of function in his extensor hallucis longus tendon for no apparent reason.
