Chang Kyo Oh et al. Anchoring endoscopic mucosal resection versus conventional endoscopic mucosal resection for large nonpedunculated colorectal polyps: a randomized controlled trial

The superiority of anchoring EMR over conventional EMR in terms of en bloc and R0 resection for nonpedunculated colorectal polyps sized 10–25mm was demonstrated in this randomized controlled trial. Anchoring EMR can be considered as one of the standard techniques for the resection of larger colorectal polyps, although a further comparison with other techniques, such as underwater EMR, is needed.
