Einlage eines Intrauterinsystems (IUS) – Schritt für Schritt

Neben oralen Kontrazeptiva stellen intrauterine Systeme (IUS) eine wichtige und nebenwirkungsarme Methode der Empfängnisverhütung dar. Viele Anwenderinnen fürchten jedoch die Einlage eines IUS – hier sind Beratung und Aufklärung neben einer schmerz- und komplikationsarmen Einlage entscheidend. Dieser Beitrag beschreibt den strukturierten Ablauf einer IUS-Einlage und gibt einen Überblick über die vorbereitende Diagnostik und Nachkontrollen.
