Endoskopische Diagnostik und Therapie von malignen epithelialen Läsionen und ihren Vorläufern im Ösophagus

Zusammenfassung

Die Endoskopie ist der Goldstandard für die Diagnose bösartiger Tumore des Ösophagus und ihrer Vorläuferläsionen. Darüber hinaus ist die endoskopische Behandlung dieser Vorläuferläsionen und des frühen Ösophaguskarzinoms gut untersucht und fest etabliert. Dazu gehören dysplastische Läsionen im Zusammenhang mit dem Barrett-Ösophagus und frühe Adenokarzinome sowie frühe Plattenepithelkarzinome des Ösophagus. Die Rolle der Endoskopie bei der Diagnose und Behandlung dieser Läsionen wird zusammenfassend dargestellt.

Abstract

Endoscopy is the gold standard for diagnosis of oesophageal cancer and its precursor lesions. Besides this, endoscopic treatment of these precursor lesions and early oesophageal cancer has been well evaluated and established. This includes dysplastic lesions associated with Barrett’s oesophagus and early adenocarcinoma, as well as early squamous cell cancer of the oesophagus. The role of endoscopy for diagnosis and treatment of these lesions is summarised.
