Kinder und Jugendliche psychisch- und suchterkrankter Eltern

Für Kinder und Jugendliche psychisch- und suchterkrankter Eltern gibt es in Deutschland keine regelhafte und familienbasierte Versorgung. Existierende Projekte und Initiativen können der Komplexität des Themas nicht gerecht werden. Dieser Beitrag fasst die aktuellen Erkenntnisse zum Entwicklungsrisiko und zur Resilienz betroffener Kinder zusammen und arbeitet Ansatzpunkte für evidenzbasierte Präventionen und Interventionen heraus.

Kernaussagen

• Kinder und Jugendliche psychisch kranker und suchtkranker Eltern gehören noch immer (über 30 Jahre nachdem das Thema in den Blick der Fachöffentlichkeit gerückt ist) zu einer Hochrisikogruppe für die Entwicklung eigener Erkrankungen.

• Daher ist dieses Thema im letzten Jahrzehnt verstärkt in die Bemühungen der Regional- und Bundespolitik getreten.

• Die Risikofaktoren zu beschreiben und zu verstehen, ist nach wie vor eine wichtige Forschungsaufgabe.

• Die Beschäftigung mit der Resilienz betroffener Kinder und ihrer Familien ist ein wichtiges Thema, um geeignete Hilfsangebote zu entwickeln und zu implementieren.

• Eine familienorientierte Versorgung erscheint notwendig, unser GKV-Versorgungssystem der Regelversorgung wird diesem Anspruch jedoch an vielen Stellen noch nicht gerecht.

• Vorhandene evaluierte (evidenzbasierte) Präventionen und Interventionen machen die Wirksamkeit deutlich und zeigen, dass langfristig der transgenerationalen Weitergabe psychischer Erkrankungen wirksam begegnet werden kann.

• Außer evidenzbasierten Präventionen und Interventionen muss man die Hindernisse und Barrieren der Inanspruchnahme verstehen und die Zugangs- und Implementierungswege bahnen.

• Deshalb hat der GB-A-Innovationsfond von 2020 bis 2023 den bundesweiten Versorgungs- und Forschungsverbund CHIMPS-NET gefördert, der bedarfsorientiert verschiedene Präventionen bzw. Interventionen bereithält, zur Verbesserung der Versorgungssituation in Deutschland beitragen soll und eine Implementierungsforschung enthält.
