Martijn R. Jong et al. The development and ex vivo evaluation of a computer-aided quality control system for Barrett’s esophagus endoscopy

A newly developed computer-aided quality assurance (CAQ) system for Barrett’s esophagus was evaluated in this multicenter ex vivo study. The CAQ system effectively identified high quality video frames by analyzing blurriness, illumination, mucosal cleanliness, and esophageal expansion, enhancing quality control in Barrett’s esophagus endoscopy and potentially improving the efficacy of computer-aided detection tools.
