Summary
A case of intradural hydatid cyst, simulating disc protrusion is described. It is
emphasized, that in countries like Greece, the possibility of hydatid cyst compressing
the spinal cord, should always be considered.
Zusammenfassung
Es wird ein Fall von intraduraler Echinokokkuszyste mit der Symptomatologie einer
Diskushernie beschrieben. Es wird betont, daß in Ländern wie Griechenland beim spinalen
Kompressionssyndrom stets an die Möglichkeit einer Echinokokkuszyste differentialdiagnostisch
gedacht werden muß.
