Reoperationen nach bariatrischer und metabolischer Chirurgie

Zusammenfassung

Aufgrund der zunehmenden Prävalenz der morbiden Adipositas gewinnt die bariatrische und metabolische Chirurgie immer mehr an Bedeutung. Mit der zunehmenden Zahl bariatrischer Operationen steigt natürlich auch die Anzahl an Patienten, die einer Revisionsoperation bedürfen, meist aufgrund eines nicht ausreichenden Gewichtsverlustes. Dieser Artikel gibt einen Überblick über Indikationsstellung, präoperative Diagnostik und mögliche Revisionseingriffe nach einer bariatrischen Operation.

Abstract

Because of the growing prevalence of morbid obesity, bariatric surgery is getting more and more important. According to the growing number of bariatric operations, the number of patients in need of revisionary surgery is also growing, mostly because of insufficient weight loss. This article gives an outline of indications, preoperative diagnostics and revisionary operations in bariatric surgery.
