Abstract

Micronutrients can play an important complementary role in the prevention and therapy of many diseases. In addition to psychic symptoms and pain, they also influence functional circuits like inflammation, immune system, energy balance, and oxidative stress, which play an important role in the fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS). In this article, the holistic concept of micronutrient medicine for the treatment of the FMS is presented.
