Inhalationsnarkose mit Isofluran oder Sevofluran – Wie lässt sich das Risiko von Nebenwirkungen reduzieren?

Die Inhalationsnarkose ist keine nebenwirkungsarme Narkose. Alle volatilen Anästhetika sind atem- und kreislaufdepressiv. Von Vorteil ist jedoch, dass die atemdepressive und blutdrucksenkende Wirkung von Isofluran und Sevofluran stark dosisabhängig ist. Über eine Dosisreduktion kann deshalb eine Verringerung der Nebenwirkungen erreicht werden. Von Vorteil ist auch, dass die für einen Patienten notwendige Konzentration eines volatilen Anästhetikums nicht nur von dessen Wirkungsstärke, sondern auch von vielen anderen Faktoren abhängig ist und sich somit aktiv beeinflussen lässt.
