Prädiktoren der funktionalen Gesundheit zu Beginn und Ende einer Alkoholentwöhnungsbehandlung

Zusammenfassung

Ziel dieser Studie war die Identifikation von Prädiktoren der funktionalen Gesundheit nach der ICF bei Patienten in einer Alkoholentwöhnung. Hierzu wurden zu Beginn und zum Ende der Behandlung die funktionale Gesundheit mittels eines Interviews und mögliche Prädiktoren mit Selbstbeurteilungsbögen erfasst. Prädiktoren einer geringeren funktionalen Gesundheit waren eine fehlende Partnerschaft, eine hohe psychische Belastung und komorbide psychische Störungen. Die Befunde sprechen für die Brauchbarkeit der ICF zur Behandlungsplanung in der Alkoholentwöhnung.

Abstract

Aim of the study was to identify predictors of functioning according to the ICF. 123 patients of an inpatient alcohol rehabilitation treatment were interviewed with the Measurements in the Addictions for Triage and Evaluation – ICF-Core set and Need for Care (MATE-ICN) at entry and discharge of treatment. Psychological distress, number of comorbid psychiatric disorders, relationship status and quality as well as alcohol consumption were assessed at treatment entry. In multiple regression analyses being single, having high psychological distress and a higher number of comorbid disorders significantly predicted limitations in functioning. Findings of this study underline the validity and feasibility of the use of MATE-ICN in alcohol rehabilitation treatment.
