Der aktuelle Diskussionsstand zur Pornografie-Ethik: Von Anti-Porno- und Anti-Zensur- zu Pro-Porno-Positionen

Durch Internet und Web 2.0 hat sich in den letzten Jahren ein grundlegender Wandel in der Verfügbarkeit und Nutzung, aber auch in der Produktion sexuell expliziter Medienangebote vollzogen. Dieser Wandel geht mit verstärkten öffentlichen und wissenschaftlichen Debatten rund um eine „Sexualisierung“ und „Pornografisierung“ unserer Gesellschaft einher. In diesen Debatten geht es einerseits um Medienwirkungen, andererseits um Wertvorstellungen, oft wird beides vermischt. Der vorliegende Beitrag widmet sich der moralischen Bewertung von Pornografie und fasst den aktuellen Diskussionsstand zur Pornografie-Ethik erstmals strukturiert zusammen. Die drei zentralen ethischen Positionen zur Pornografie: die Anti-Porno-, die Anti-Zensur- und die Pro-Porno-Position werden rekonstruiert. Die Hauptkontroverse findet seit Jahrzehnten zwischen der Anti-Porno- und der Anti-Zensur-Position statt, die sich pauschal für bzw. gegen eine verstärkte rechtliche Regulierung von Pornografie einsetzen. Demgegenüber zielt die Pro-Porno-Position auf eine differenzierte ethische Bewertung legaler Pornografie auf den Ebenen der Produktion, Repräsentation und Rezeption. Entsprechende Standards einer pornografiebezogenen Produktions-, Repräsentations- und Rezeptions-Ethik werden vorgestellt und kritisch diskutiert. Der Beitrag legt besonderes Augenmerk auf die Definition und Beschreibung des Gegenstands „Pornografie“ sowie auf Geschlechteraspekte.
