Kernaussagen

Neben dem Mammakarzinom als häufigster maligner Erkrankung der Brust gibt es weitere maligne Neoplasien. Sie sind allesamt sehr selten und häufig klinisch und in der diagnostischen Bildgebung schwierig vom Mammakarzinom abzugrenzen. Hierzu gehören die primären und sekundären lymphoretikulären Malignome (meist Non-Hodgkin-Lymphome), die heterogene Gruppe der primären und sekundären Sarkome sowie hämatogene Metastasen extramammärer Malignome und Phylloidestumore, d. h. fibro-epitheliale Neoplasien der Brust. Um unnötige operative Interventionen zu vermeiden und eine spezifische onkologische Therapie einzuleiten, ist die genaue Unterscheidung der malignen Brusterkrankungen und insbesondere die Abgrenzung zum Mammakarzinom wichtig.
