Summary

The revision of the homeopathic materia medica was suggested first by Constantine Hering but never carried out. This work is necessary because of many mistakes in our standard tools. Furthermore many provings and clinical observations published in periodicals worldwide since the days of Hahnemann are not available to the practitioner. To present a reliable basic instrument the revision has been started at the “Glees Academy of Homoeopathic Physicians” after 25 years of preparatory work with about 20 co-operating colleagues. Since 2007 25 remedies have been published.
