Wirtschaftliche Füllungstechnik – Warum und womit?

Aus ethischer wie auch aus wirtschaftlicher Sicht soll man die Behandlungszeit auf Maßnahmen konzentrieren, die beweisgestützt ausreichend sind, um zu einer wirksamen Therapie zu kommen. Auch wenn viele Kollegen überrascht sind: Kompositfüllungen im Seitenzahnbereich sind mindestens so langlebig wie Amalgamfüllungen. Dabei erlauben neue Schrumpfungsstress-reduzierte, sogenannte Bulk-Fill-Komposite Schichten von 4 mm in 20 s auszuhärten. Erste wissenschaftliche Daten zeigen einstimmig vielversprechende Resultate für die daraus resultierende vereinfachte Schichttechnik, sodass die neuen Materialien in Kombination mit selbstätzenden Adhäsiven eine sozialverträglichere Füllungstherapie möglicher machen.
