Summary
The existing potencies in their dilution series 1 : 99 and 1 : 9 are “nominal” weight : weight or volume : volume ratios devoid of a rational chemical basis. The basic principle of molar ratio potencies is to provide each one molecule of the drug with nine molecules of the diluent at the 1X potency, 99 molecules at the 2X potency and so on. Molar ratio potencies based on fundamental principles of chemistry shall rectify a long-standing anomaly in the preparation of homeopathic potencies.
