Zusammenfassung
Die Endoprothesen für das Ellenbogengelenk folgen unterschiedlichen Bauweisen und Konstruktionsprinzipien. Die Frage des notwendigen Kopplungsgrades wird nach wie vor kontrovers diskutiert. Sloppy-hinge-Kopplungen haben starre Scharnierkopplungen abgelöst. Während ungekoppelte Prothesen die Gefahr der Luxation und der Instabilität bergen, wird für die sloppy-hinge-Prothesen eine frühzeitigere mechanische Lockerung befürchtet. Aktuelle vergleichende Studien liefern keine sicheren Anhaltspunkte dafür, dass diese Befürchtungen berechtigt sind.
Abstract
The endoprostheses for the elbow joinf follow different designs and construction principles. The question of the required degree of coupling is still a topic of controversial discussion. Sloppy-hinge couplings have now replaced rigid joint couplings. Whereas non-coupled prostheses carry the risk of disolocation and instability, for slopp-hinge prosthese an early mechanical loosening is to be feared. The currently available comparative studies do not provide any certain information to confirm or exclude this supposition.
