Zusammenfassung
Der Deutsche Caritasverband führte in seinen Suchthilfeeinrichtungen eine Erhebung
zur Versorgungssituation von Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund durch. Im Mittel beträgt
der Anteil von Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund in den Einrichtungen 16,5%. Die
häufigsten Herkunftsländer sind Russland (34,4%) und Türkei (26,9%). Über 40% der
Einrichtungen haben spezielle Angebote für Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund und
über 90% geben an, dass eine Integration in Regelangebote gelingt, wenn ausreichend
Sprachkenntnisse vorhanden sind. Etwa 40% geben an, dass es konkrete Nachfragen nach
Selbsthilfe von Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund gibt. Die Ergebnisse deuten auf
eine hohe Relevanz der Thematik in der Praxis hin, wobei der Lösung von Sprachproblemen
eine besonders wichtige Bedeutung zukommt. Im Bereich Selbsthilfe für Menschen mit
Migrationshintergrund zeigen sich zentrale Faktoren, deren Berücksichtigung zum Gelingen
des Aufbaus entsprechender Angebote beitragen kann.
Abstract
German Caritas conducted a survey on addiction counseling, treatment and self-support
of migrants in their counseling centers and clinics to get an overview of the current
situation and needs. On average, the proportion of migrants among clients is 16.5%.
They are mostly from Russia (34.4%) and Turkey (26.9%). More than 40% of the institutions
have special offers, and more than 90% state the integration of migrants into regular
offers works well as long as the language skills suffice. More than 60% state the
integration into regular self-support groups works under the same precondition. 22.6%
indicate special self-support groups for migrants existing in their region, and about
40% indicate requests of migrants for self-support offers. The results prove the importance
of the topic, and they emphasize that offering help for the group of people needing
offers in their first language is the greatest challenge. In respect of self-support
offers important factors for an effective establishment of groups have been identified.
