Von Abirateronacetat profitieren auch Patienten im Alter über 75 Jahre. In der Posthoc- Analyse der Zulassungsstudie, die auf der EAU Conference 2012 in Paris vorgestellt wurde, verzeichneten ältere Patienten eine vergleichbare Verlängerung des Gesamtüberlebens wie jüngere Betroffene.
