Mit zunehmendem finanziellem Druck auf das Gesundheitssystem tritt das Kostenbewusstsein mehr und mehr in den Vordergrund. Hierbei werden zu häufig nur direkte Sachkosten mit in Betracht gezogen – komplexe logistische Prozesse als Kostentreiber häufig aufgrund mangelnder Transparenz nicht betrachtet. Ein Blick auf die Endoskopie zeigt Optimierungspotenziale anhand einer Studie auf.
