The author has informed the Publisher that in the editorial of issue 34.2 there is an error in the first para. DOI of the article is: 10.1055/s-0041-1731735.

The parenthetical text, i.e. (SARS-CoV-2) is placed incorrectly in second sentence of the first para. This text should appear at the end of the first sentence (in line 6 of the first para). Correct para should be read as follows:

Quite unlike the previous wave, we are witnessing the harrowing emergence of a deadly and serious morbidity inflicting condition diagnosed as mucormycosis in the current upsurge of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) due to Delta variant (B.1.617.2 strain) of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2). Mucormycosis is an opportunistic fungal infection caused by fungi belonging to the order Mucorales, and specifically Rhizopus oryzae species are by far the most common cause of infection.
