ESGE LEARNING AREA

Everyone involved in gastroenterology is looking towards Vienna, where UEG Week is soon to take place. For young and skilled endoscopists alike the ESGE Learning Area is a major stage to meet, learn and discuss.

Please check the ESGE website for the current schedule of events that take place here. For your convenience, the delegate bag will include a brochure with all information on the ESGE Learning Area programme.

Hands-on training will be offered throughout the week with more teaching sessions than ever before. This is your opportunity to have access to state-of-the-art equipment and accessories and expert teaching from renowned doctors and experts. Don’t turn up late, some of the training sessions require registration, all of them however, are free of charge for all UEG Week delegates.

You are also sure to find your special topic of interest being discussed in the Lecture Theatre. We welcome an interested audience and encourage dialogue. Highly qualified and well-known endoscopists have been invited to present their views and experience with current endoscopic procedures and technique. You are asked to critically question the case at hand and to offer your own view. As a reader, and possibly contributor to the journal Endoscopy, you should take time to visit the extended session on manuscript publishing. A team of editors and reviewers will give advice and information. Please also don’t miss the special presentation of select ESGE guidelines.

And whenever you have some time to fill, grab a headphone and visit one of the eLearning stations where you can sit comfortably and tune in to one of the teaching videos.
