Abstract Text Computed Tomography of the abdomen revealed multiple diverticula and diverticulitis in the ascending colon and cecum.Colonoscopy identified several diverticula containing fecaliths. we used a conical transparent cap which is commonly used during endoscopic retrograde appendicitis therapy to expose the opening of diverticulum, and attempted to extract the fecalith with a foreign body forceps, but this also failed. Therefore, we transitioned to a long transparent cap-fitted endoscopic suction technique-which enhanced suction power and provided adequate internal space. Ultimately, complete removal of the fecaliths from all diverticula were achieved uneventfully and easily.
