Untersuchung und Behandlung des kranialen Nervengewebes am Beispiel des N. accessorius

Zusammenfassung

Der Artikel gibt einen Überblick über die physikalische Untersuchung des kranialen Nervengewebes am Beispiel des N. accessorius. Die relevante Anatomie wird dargestellt. Außerdem erfolgt eine detaillierte Beschreibung zur Prüfung von Nervenleitung und Funktion des Zielgewebes sowie der Neurodynamik und Palpation.

Ziel ist es, ein standardisiertes Vorgehen zur Durchführung neurodynamischer Tests für kraniales Nervengewebe zu präsentieren. Diese sollen bei Untersuchung und Behandlung einfach anzuwenden sein.

Abstract

The article gives an overview of the physical investigation of the cranial neural tissue exemplified by the accessory nerve. The relevant anatomy is portrayed. In addition, a detailed description of the conduction tests and the function of target tissues as well as of the neurodynamics involved and nerve palpation is presented.

The aim of this article is to initiate a standardised procedure for the implementation of neurodynamic testing in cranial neural tissue. This needs to be simple to use in clinical practice during assessment and treatment.
