The Student's Role: A Common Concern brought to the Balint Group

Introduction

Since 2004 medical students in their first clinical year at the Royal Free and University College Medical School, have been offered the option of joining a Balint group. The information presented in this paper is taken from the 90 cases that have been presented in the four groups that the author has led personally with a colleague.
