Zusammenfassung
Arzneimittel und Mikronährstoffe benutzen im Organismus bei der Absorption, Metabolisierung
und Elimination die gleichen Transport- und Stoffwechselwege. Werden ein oder
mehrere Arzneimittel eingenommen, besteht daher immer das potenzielle Risiko für
Interaktionen mit dem Mikronährstoffhaushalt. Dadurch kann sowohl die Wirkung
eines Arzneimittels als auch die physiologische Funktion eines Vitamins oder
Mineralstoffs gestört werden.
Abstract
Drugs and micronutrients use the same transport and metabolic pathways in the
organism for absorption, metabolization, and elimination. If one or more drugs
are taken, there always exists the potential risk of interactions with the micronutrient
balance. Therefore, the effect of a drug as well as the physiological function
of a vitamin or mineral substance can be impaired.
