Zusammenfassung
Die Nuklearkardiologie war ein wesentlicher Treiber für Innovationen in der SPECT, etwa durch die Einführung variabler Kamerageometrien, der 3D-iterativen Rekonstruktion, patientenspezifischer Korrekturen und der CT-Koppelung. Diese Fortschritte ermöglichten das Calcium-Scoring und quantitative Auswertungen und eröffnen Perspektiven für die Bestimmung des myokardialen Blutflusses und der koronaren Flussreserve – trotz der nichtlinearen Eigenschaften von 99mTc-Tracern. KI-Methoden bieten Unterstützung, beruhen aber letztendlich nur auf Wahrscheinlichkeitsmathematik. Neue Detektoren und höhere Rechenleistung versprechen weiteren Fortschritt.
Abstract
Nuclear cardiology has been a key driver of innovations in SPECT, such as variable camera geometries, 3D iterative reconstruction, patient-specific corrections, and CT integration. This enables Ca-scoring, quantitative evaluation, and opens perspectives for MBF and CFR – despite the nonlinear properties of 99mTc tracers. AI methods offer support but are based on merely probability mathematics. New detectors and increased computing power promise further progress.
