Zusammengfassung

Die vorliegende Übersicht befasst sich mit einigen wegweisenden Studien auf dem Gebiet der neurologischen Intensivmedizin. Hierzu wurde eine Auswahl der in den letzten 2 Jahren veröffentlichten Ergebnisse getroffen. Der thematische Umfang, der daraus resultiert umfasst verschiedene Teilbereiche der neurologischen Intensivmedizin ohne Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit. So werden neben dem invasiven intrakraniellen Druckmonitoring und verschiedenen Therapieaspekten nach Schädel-Hirn-Trauma, neue Studien zur Prognoseabschätzung nach Herzstillstand, zur Glukosekontrolle bei neurologischen Intensivpatienten und zur Behandlung intrazerebraler, intraventrikulärer und subarachnoidaler Blutungen zusammengefasst.

Abstract

The present article reviews recent important research in the field of neurocritical care. A selection of several studies published in the past 2 years is summarized, including topics such as invasive intracranial pressure monitoring and different treatment aspects for severe traumatic brain injury, prognosis estimation after cardiac arrest, glucose control in neurological critical care patients and treatment of intracerebral, intraventricular and subarachnoid haemorrhage.
