Summary

Patienten mit Herzinsuffizienz haben ein um bis zu 40% erhöhtes Risiko, im ersten Jahr nach Diagnosestellung zu versterben. Entscheidend für die Überlebenschancen ist die Pumpleistung des Herzens. Die Traditionelle Chinesische Medizin kann mit Akupunktur und Phytotherapie die Beschwerden der Patienten und die Pumpleistung des Herzens entscheidend verbessern – auch in Fällen, in denen die westliche Medizin bereits an ihre Grenzen gestoßen ist. Die Effektivität der TCM ist wissenschaftlich gut belegt. Vor allem die Verabreichung von Aconitiradixlateralispraeparata, Astragaliradix und Salvia miltiorrhizaeradix verbesserte in Studien Symptomatik und Pumpleistung betroffener Patienten.
