LSVT LOUD in der Anwendung bei kindlicher Dysarthrie – eine Einzelfallstudie

In der vorliegenden Einzelfallstudie wurde das bei Erwachsenen evidenzbasierte Therapieprogramm LSVT LOUD^® in der Anwendung bei kindlicher Dysarthrie erprobt. Lautstärke wie auch Verständlichkeit der Probandin konnten durch die Intensivtherapie signifikant gesteigert werden, die Effekte blieben bis zum Follow-up konstant. Der Bereich der Modulation profitierte am meisten von der Intervention.

Abstract

In the context of the presented individual case study, the evidence-based therapy program LSVT LOUD, which is applied in the field of adults, has been tested in childhood dysarthria. The results were collected before and after the intervention, as well as after a four-week intervention break. Both the volume and the intelligibility of the patient increased significantly due to the intensive therapy. These effects remained constant until the follow-up. Modulation is the area which benefited most from the intervention.
