Case Report

A 45-year-old man was seen at the emergency clinic because of acute blurred and pixelated vision in his right eye, which he noticed since wakening in the morning. The day before, he had temporarily perceived a comparable visual impression over a period of about 2 hours. There was no history of preexisting illnesses; only a common cold 3 weeks before.
