Significance

Chiral dienes are a relatively new class of ligands for asymmetric synthesis. In this work, binaphthyl-based chiral dienes are developed as rhodium(I) complexes to catalyze the asymmetric arylation of N,N-dimethylsulfamoyl-protected aldimines with arylboronic acids.
