Gold-Catalyzed Hydroamination of Internal Alkynes

Significance

This paper describes an efficient method to synthesize functionalized enamines. Utilizing gold catalysis, densely functionalized enamines can be obtained directly from an internal alkyne and an amine. The products are also produced in high regio- and stereoselectivities from symmetrical and unsymmetrical alkynes in most cases.
