Significance

A novel family of chiral ferrocenyl P,S-ligands was successfully developed and applied to a highly endo-selective catalytic enantioselective [3+2] cycloaddition of azomethine ylides with both cyclic and acyclic enones. The desired chiral pyrrolidine derivatives were obtained with high yields and enantioselectivities.
