Significance

In the present article, the authors expand the scope of their previously developed Cu-catalyzed asymmetric SN2′ reaction with Grignard nucleophiles (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2004, 43, 2426-2428) to more highly substituted β-di­substituted allylic halides.
