Abstract

Report on a pericardial cyst called a pseudopericardial cyst. In a female newborn with cyanosis a mediastinal tumour was noticed on a thorax x-ray, interpreted at first as an enteral duplication. Surgery revealed a pericardial cyst. This was confirmed by histological examination.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über einen Fall einer perikardialen Zyste berichtet, die als pseudokardiale Zyste bezeichnet wird. Bei einem weiblichen Neugeborenen mit Zyanose war auf einer Thoraxaufnahme ein Mediastinaltumor aufgefallen, der zunächst als enterale Duplikatur gedeutet wurde. Bei der Operation fand sich hingegen eine perikardiale Zyste. Die Histologie bestätigte den Befund.
