Zusammenfassung
Das Erkennen der Symptomkombination von Katarakt und neurologischer Erkrankung vermag
oft wertvolle diagnostische Hinweise zu geben. Nur wenige zugrunde liegende Erkrankungen
(Angiokeratoma corporis diffusum, zerebro-tendinöse Xanthomatose, Diabetes mellitus,
Galaktosämie, Hypokalzämie, Morbus Refsum, Morbus Wilson; Charles Bonnet-Syndrom;
rezidivierende Perichondritis; Medikamentennebenwirkungen und Intoxikationen) sind
ursächlich behandelbar. Sie werden in dieser Arbeit zusammengestellt und besprochen.
Summary
The detection of a cataract in combination with a neurological deficit may provide
the physician with important diagnostic help. But a minority of underlying diseases
(angioceratoma corporis diffusum, cerebrotendineous xanthomatosis, diabetes mellitus,
galactosemia, hypocalcemia, Refsum's disease, Wilson's disease; Charles Bonnet syndrome;
relapsing Perichondritis; adverse effects of medication and intoxications) can be
treated causally. Therefore they are summed up and discussed in this paper.
