Periphere proliferative Vitreoretinopathie bei intermediärer Uveitis

Zusammenfassung

Bestimmte Formen der intermediären Uveitis gehen mit proliferativer Vitreoretinopathie und Netzhautabhebung einher. In der Regel bleiben beide Komplikationen auf die Fundusperipherie beschränkt; sie treten oft gleichzeitig auf, stehen aber keinesfalls immer in kausalem Zusammenhang. Exsudatdepots und/oder Gefäßsprossen im Bereich der Glaskörperbasis sind die Vorläufer der peripheren proliferativen Vitreoretinopathie. Die klinischen Befunde und ihre therapeutischen Konsequenzen werden besprochen.

Summary

Certain types of intermediary uveitis are accompanied by proliferative vitreoretinopathy and retinal detachment. As a rule both complications are confined to the fundus periphery; they often occur simultaneously but they are not always related to one another. Exudate plaques and/or neovascularizations at the base of the vitreous are the precursors of peripheral proliferative vitreoretinopathy. Clinical findings and their therapeutic consequences are discussed.
